Over the years Joe has held progressive leadership roles and currently serves as the Executive
Director for Digestive Health at Yale New Haven Health. Joe holds a faculty appointment with
Yale Department of Surgery and lectures regularly at the Yale Physician Associate program.
Joe’s style is warm, results oriented, supportive and direct.
He has experienced what it takes to rise from the ranks of clinical PA to an executive leader role in a complex academic healthcare organization. Joe believes in candid feedback, constructive next steps and self-awareness to develop emerging leaders. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from University of Hartford and Master’s from Pacific University in Physician Assistant Science. He also completed a leadership course series from the Yale School of Management in Strategic Agility
and Innovation. Joe most importantly enjoys time with his family and occasionally gets to play a
round or two of golf.
