Kara has been an Orthopedic Physician Assistant for 20 years, and has been a Chief Physician Assistant for 3 years. Her career includes 13 years of outpatient Orthopedics and 6 years of inpatient surgical services including Orthopedics, Spine, Orthopedic Trauma, Neurosurgery and Urology. Her role as Chief Surgical Physician Assistant, which is an administrative and clinical position, allows her to provide unique insight to clients pursuing leadership roles while maintaining a clinical position.
She actively participates in the hiring, onboarding, and day to day training of all new hires on her team, whether a new graduate or an experienced PA. She understands the struggles of new graduates looking for the “right fit” for their first jobs and can provide resources and strategies to any PA, experienced or not, looking for that extra “edge” to stay ahead of their competition.
