If taking your career to the next level is your goal, Dr. Huckabee can help. As a PA for 40+ years,
his practice spans patient care in rural family medicine, emergency medicine and pediatrics.
He’ll explore your personal career growth compared to his own experience building an academic
career alongside patient care as an educator across four PA programs and director at three.

Over his academic career (reaching the pinnacle recently as founding director of the Mayo Clinic
PA Program), he’s advised dozens of PAs entering and advancing in academia and guided
hundreds of early career PAs in their best career trajectories. Dr. Huckabee’s expertise is
recognized by his award-winning text, “Clinical Leadership for Physician Assistants and Nurse
Practitioners,” and being honored with the Leadership Development Award from the Physician
Assistant Education Association in 2018. He would enjoy the opportunity to discover with you a
